PRODUCTION DESIGNER + ART DIRECTION

Jimena is a production designer with over 20 years of experience in film and TV. Originally from Lima, Peru, she moved to New York City in 2001 to pursue her career and is now based in Barcelona, exploring projects across Europe. With degrees in Interior Design (IED Barcelona) and Fine Art (SVA New York), Jimena combines practical and artistic skills to create authentic, layered spaces. Her work spans films, indie projects, music videos, commercials, and events, with notable credits including:

Here & Now (2018), produced and starred by Sarah Jessica Parker
She has also worked on music videos for artists such as Charlotte Gainsbourg and Vancouver Sleep Clinic, and has collaborated with brands like Netflix, Nike, Adidas, Disney, Beats, among others. In addition, she worked with artist Daniel Arsham on various film projects, one of which featured a set design piece exhibited at Art Basel in 2015.
When she’s not designing sets, you’ll find her painting, making ceramics or traveling finding inspiration for future projects.
